Our consultants were part of the team that conducted the evaluation of the South African Trade Hub. We used both qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools (e.g. review of logistical efficiency project performance monitoring data such as customs streamlining key “Doing Business” data, design and application impact and outcome assessment questionnaires) that are appropriate for the scope of the project, resources, and audience. A non-experimental evaluation design was preferred for the evaluation. Both primary and secondary qualitative and quantitative data was collected and analyzed for this evaluation. Methodological triangulation was used to verify the quality of the data and evidence.
